Our Facilities and Asset Services team has an opportunity for a HVAC Service Tech to join the team located Birtinya, Qld. You will be working alongside a great team of 5 other HVAC technicians and will be exposed to one of the largest central, chilled water plants in SEQ. Comprising of mostly AHU's and floor mounted FCU's, Sunshine Coast University Hospital also has a great range of refrigeration from multi door commercial fridges / freezers to multistage rack systems. If the HVAC & R equipment at this leading-edge facility won't grow your current experience to take your career to the next level, the largest automation server (BMS) in the southern hemisphere binding it all together will. ABOUT YOU- Proven experience working with Central Plant HVAC, Mechanical Systems, BMS Systems and commercial Refrigeration systems
- Experience in responding to and repairing faults
- Understanding and commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to manage and organise own time and tasks
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with others in a team environment
- Cert III in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
- National Arctic Refrigerant Handling License
- Restricted Electrical License
- Current PFA/CPR and National Working at Heights Clearance is highly desirable
