Mechanical, Inventor Draftsperson.

• Sydney Engineering office.
• Experienced Mechanical Draftsperson required.
• Revit, Inventor 3D, Autodesk Vault, 2D AutoCAD,
• Initial contract role, $$ negotiable depending on skill level

Plant 3D, 2d AutoCAD and Autodesk Vault experience a plus

• Role incorporates plant design, structural, mechanical and pipe modelling and detail drafting
• Drafting qualifications in 3D or 2D, certificate/diploma in engineering a plus
• Permanent resident status or higher only

• Use Plant 3D, Revit, Inventor and AutoCAD to produce models and drawings, supporting the engineering design team.
  • Ensure that designs and drawings are prepared within budgeted hours and timeframes,

Liaise with external fabricators and other stakeholders to assist with the correct interpretation and revision of drawings.

• Provide assistance to Project and Sales Engineers in the preparation of other documentation as may be required from time to time

Experience.

5 + years' experience in Drafting using Revit, Inventor and AutoCAD and design experience in a project environment

• Competent level with Microsoft office suite and Outlook
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• An understanding of basic design, safety in design and value engineering principles
• An understanding of drafting standards
• A high standard of attention to
• A willingness to learn, understand and apply new technologies
• Strong written and oral communication skills
