At Krueger, we're pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the truck trailer manufacturing industry. We're looking for a talented Mechatronics Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about merging mechanics, electronics, and computing to create cutting-edge, automated systems.
The role:
- Design and develop innovative mechatronic systems and solutions for truck trailers and the relevant manufacturing processes, focusing on automation, safety, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to prototype new technologies and validate their application in our manufacturing process and product offerings.
- Work closely with mechanical and electrical engineers to ensure seamless integration of mechatronic systems.
- Program and configure NC (Numerical Control) and/or PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), equipment, microcontrollers, sensors, and actuators to control mechanical systems efficiently.
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics Engineering or Robotics Engineering.
- Demonstrated experience in Mechatronics Engineering, preferably in the automotive, transportation, or manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering principles.
- Experience with CAD and other relevant simulation software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and innovatively.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations, standards, and best practices.
