We are seeking an experienced Medical Administrator / Receptionist to join one of our government clients for an immediate start.

The Role

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Providing confidential, efficient and effective administrative support and records management
  • Undertaking accurate and timely word processing, data entry, preparation and editing of letters, minutes and other correspondence in accordance with Departmental practices and procedures
  • Performing general administrative duties to support the efficient and effect management of the office of the Medical Services
  • Responding to incoming telephone calls and provide accurate information to telephone queries
  • Arrange appointments and manage electronic diary as required
  • Take clear and accurate messages
  • Maintaining the Executive Director of Medical Services diary and ensuring the collation and provision of the necessary paperwork/information prior to appointments/meetings and organising travel and accommodation, when required
  • Drafting high quality confidential and general correspondence, memoranda, and reports under general direction
  • Responsible for the end-to-end process for the timely receiving and processing invoices for payment

Experience Required

We are seeking applications from candidates who bring:

  • Proven experience in working with administrative and records management
  • Proven experience in establishing and maintaining effective office systems and procedures
  • Experience in undertaking minor research projects, including the compilation of data and the preparation of briefing documents and summary reports
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
