About this opportunityAs a
Medical Courier joining the My Home Hospital team, you will work closely with the logistics coordinator to ensure that critical medical items get delivered punctually to all our clients at home. You will also possess effective record keeping skills and work comfortably under tight deadlines to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of medical items.You will start your day at our office and drive the MHH vehicle to and from patients' home in Adelaide. Rosters are across 7 days between 7am and 9pm. This will be offered as three shifts across the day and successful applicants will be required to be flexible to work across all shifts.This position will be offered as a casul position.You will impact by:
- Collecting items from VCC (office) for delivery to patient
- Collecting returned items from patients' home and dispatch to VCC
- Mapping out route to destination, considering traffic and mileage
- Maintaining staff and consumer confidentiality at all times
About YouIdeally, you will have previous experience as a courier preferably within a medical/pharmaceutical environment. From this, you will be reliable and professional with outstanding routing and directional skills, and a passion for delivering items safely whilst providing an excellent service to our patients. IT literacy is essential to undertake this role.You will also require:
- A current Australian driver licence & clean driving record
- Current Working with Children Check (willing to obtain)
- Knowledge of greater Adelaide area & IT literacy skills
- Strong customer service skills & communication skills
