About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Emergency Services Officer (MESO) to join our team at the Honeymoon Uranium Mine Site. In this critical role, you will be responsible for providing swift emergency response and administering first aid to onsite personnel when necessary. This position additionally requires contribution to onsite training of emergency response volunteers, investigations, delivery of first aid training, maintaining well-stocked medical supplies, and ensuring up-to-date compliance with procedures.
The role will be FIFO from Adelaide charter terminal direct to the Honeymoon mine site on an 8:6 roster.
Responsibilities:
- Swift emergency response and first aid administration to onsite personnel.
- Contributing to incident investigations and maintaining accurate records.
- Conducting comprehensive first aid training sessions for the team.
- Ensuring sufficient stock of medical supplies and up-to-date compliance with procedures.
- Coordinating and managing site inductions for incoming personnel.
- Conducting reviews of Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Providing injury management support and guidance.
- Co-ordinate and provide training to the on-site Emergency Response Team
- Conduct breath and drug testing as required
- Performing internal audits and inspections of emergency response equipment, ensuring optimal condition and functionality.
- Assist with the overall security requirements for the Honeymoon mine site.
About You
You will have the following skills, experience and qualifications:
- Certificate in IV Healthcare (Ambulance) and preferably Certificate IV in Training and Evaluation
- Experience in Emergency Response is mandatory
- Previous experience in a similar medical, emergency response position
- Familiarity with roster work in remote mine site locations
- Certificate in Senior First Aid with Advanced Resuscitation
- Competence in Drug & Alcohol Testing

Eligibility
- Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain one)
- Willingness to undergo Pre-Employment Medical and Screening.

- Possession of an Australian C Class Driver’s License
