Conveniently located in the beautiful suburb of Goonellabah in the greater Lismore area, our clients’ facility is surrounded by an abundance of natural beauty. With 4 separate households, each with up to 20 residents, the team aims to create a sense of home for each resident. You will work closely with a team that is passionate, caring, and committed to making our resident’s lives meaningful. The best part is you get to know each resident and become a fundamental part of their life. You support not only their clinical care, but you play an important role in making sure the care provided meets their individual goals.

About the position:

• The Homemaker Model of care empowers the residential care teams with freedom to support residents in ways that help them maintain a sense of meaning and purpose in their day
• You will be a clinical leader in the service and you will develop, deliver and evaluate resident care plans to meet the individual needs of our residents
• You’ll need good clinical assessment skills and will take the lead in providing clinical services
• You’ll liaise with medical and allied health professionals and residents’ family members to advocate for clients’ quality of life
• Supervise and support Personal Care Workers
• Practice in a holistic way, using your critical decision-making skills to lead the team.

About You:

• Care and commitment for our Aged Care clients
• A current and unrestricted AHPRA Registration
• Experience as an Aged Care Registered Nurse is an advantage but we encourage New Graduates to apply
• Demonstrate judgement and confidence in your Nursing ability
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
