JP2060 Deployable Health Capability is the Australian Defence Force's project to provide new equipment for field hospitals for the Army and Airforce. Aspen Medical's role is to deliver training to ADF clinicians on approximately 200 pieces of Medical Equipment. We are now seeking to expand the project team to include additional Pathology instructors.
Responsibilities of this role include:
- working with other instructors from a variety of clinical and allied health craft groups to redevelop a clinical equipment course
- supporting other technicians in the development of training material
- conduct and facilitate training on the equipment
- there may be elements of lifting heavy equipment in this role
- local and interstate travel requirements

Essential Experience and Qualifications:
- current and +5 years unrestricted registration as Pathologist.
- experience teaching, training, and educating healthcare professionals
- security clearance or willingness to obtain
- Competent in use of business software (MS Office such as PowerPoint, Excel and Word software)
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- exceptional leadership and presenting skills
- experience servicing a broad range of Medical Equipment in tertiary hospitals and remote or deployable clinics is highly desirable.
