We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Medical Physicist - Diagnostic Imaging to join our high performing team on a permanent full-time basis. Located in Brisbane, you will be an integral part of a team delivering medical physics services to ensure safe and effective use and management of healthcare technology.

As the Medical Physicist - Diagnostic Imaging, you will participate in quality control programs and radiation protection programs with minimal supervision for all Diagnostic Imaging modalities to ensure optimum performance and safe radiation levels. These modalities may include general x-ray, computed radiography (CR), digital radiography (DR), dental x-ray, fluoroscopy and interventional x-ray, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), mammography, ultrasonography and nuclear medicine technology, including positron emission tomography (PET).
Queensland Health Workforce Attraction Incentive Scheme:
Eligible health practitioners who move to Queensland from an interstate or international jurisdiction to take up permanent employment may receive up to $20,000 (pro rata) incentive payments under the Queensland Health Workforce Attraction Incentive Scheme.
