Form of workLaunceston Eye Institute is a private Specialist Ophthalmology Practice committed to providing excellence in surgical and medical eye care. We currently have positions available at our practice for team focused applicants looking to provide excellent patient care whilst working as part of our supportive and dynamic team.
We are looking for self-motivated applicants who are quick thinkers capable of working in a busy environment. If you have a strong work ethic, excellent people skills and take pride in your work we look forward to hearing from you.
The available positions require good time management, and the ability to identify and prioritise duties. Exceptional communication skills, combined with attention to detail are essential and the ability to multi-task is required.
In this role you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients and a support role for our Ophthalmologists and your co- workers.
The positions available are:
- Registered or Enrolled Nurse (Current registration required) This position is one day per week and leave cover
- Ophthalmic Technician
- Medical Reception
Prior experience for our Ophthalmic Technician and Medical Reception roles are not necessary as training and support is provided by our team. Sound English, Maths and Science based subjects are helpful for applicants that may be new to the workforce.
We have a satellite site in Ulverstone and the successful applicants will be required to work at the Ulverstone location approximately once every 4-6 weeks. Our work vehicle is provided for these clinics.
