Rostered part time hours required (not negotiable)
Monday to Friday:
- 1.00pm to 5.15pm
About the practice:
Gosnells Medical Clinic, based in Gosnells, has a strong team of well qualified GPs, Nurses and Administration staff who strive to provide a high standard of medical care.
Our team is committed, passionate and always goes beyond the call of duty. We are looking for a dedicated person to service and support our Practice by providing exceptional service.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Greet patients with a warm and welcoming attitude
- Answer phone calls and address inquiries professionally
- Schedule and confirm appointments efficiently
- Maintaining a clean reception and waiting area
- Processing Medicare/Private Billings and Payments (mixed billing)
- Allied Health bookings and payments
- Faxing, scanning, filing, and mailing
- Monitoring and ordering stationery and office supplies to maintain a working supply at all times
- Always maintain confidentiality with patients' personal information
- Maintaining information confidentiality at all times
- Manage patient records and update information accurately
- Maintain operations by following policies and procedures, reporting needed changes
- Online Claiming
- Day-to-day banking, maintaining practice financial records and reconciling
The successful applicant will:
- Use or knowledge of Best Practice Software is preferred, or alternative Medical software an advantage
- Have access to their own reliable transport
- Have full working rights in Australia
- Experience in a General Practice setting is desirable
- Be computer-literate
- Undergoing any mandatory training
- Be friendly, enthusiastic and patient-focused in your approach as the face of the medical centre
- Willing to go above and beyond to complete your tasks at hand
- Being well organised is essential
- Possess excellent attention to detail
- Work collaboratively in a team environment to ensure the smooth running of the practice
- Possess the ability to multi-task
