AddressISN Clinic is looking for a medical receptionist for their new Psychology Clinic in the Sydney CBD. This role will be part time 3 to 4 days per week (between Monday - Friday).
This incumbent will be located at the clinic in our reception desk.
Job Description
The clinic seeks a medical receptionist who can provide day to day reception and administrative support at our allied health clinic. We are seeking someone warm and compassionate, who is able to be welcoming to our clients while maintaining professional standards at all times. The role will also include some Business Development activity, liaising with other services, schools, medical clinics and engaging the community.
General Tasks & responsibilities
- Completing administrative and reception duties with a high level of attention to detail;
- Liaise with stakeholders (interns, clients and referral agencies)
- Coordinating and scheduling appointments for allied health and medical professional and medical professionals;
- Responding to emails and managing phone calls in a pro-active professional and respectful manner;
- Proven ability to communicate at a high level, both written and verbally;
- Has previously worked in a medical or allied health administrative role;
- A strong administrator with a high level of attention to detail;
- A passion for helping people and exceeding service expectations by delivering memorable experiences;
- Confident in multi-tasking and taking on new challenges;
- other reception and administrative duties related to this position as required.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience as a medical / allied health practice receptionist;
- Desirable bachelor degree qualification;
- A positive and energetic individual who thrives on taking responsibility and getting tasks done efficiently and accurately;
- High level of computer literacy in Office 365 particularly Excel;
- Experience working with a client management system (CMS);
- Desirable: Experience with Medicare rebate processing.
