South Melbourne Maxillofacial Surgery is seeking a full-time Medical Receptionist. The medical receptionist will work directly with the Maxillofacial Surgeon and will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the practice, seeing to the needs of our patients as well as the surgeon.
We are looking for a hardworking, reliable and motivated candidate to fill the position within our practice.
What you must have:
- Excellent phone manner and patient care
- Possess excellent typing skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work unsupervised and independently
- Excellent organisational skills
- An efficient and organised manner
- Experience in dental or maxillofacial surgery preferred
- Experience in Genie software preferred, but not essential
Responsibilities include:
- Open and Close procedures
- Management of answering machine / email / post
- Answering phones
- Greeting patients
- Basic data entry
- Booking and diary management
- Hospital list bookings and management
- Filing / Scanning / Stock management
- Invoicing and banking
- Liaising with Surgeon
