Full time, 2 years fixed term
The Role
In this full time role based in East Melbourne, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of a high quality cryopreservation and research laboratory service for Epworth's cellular therapy program. You will be part of the stem cell transplant team at Epworth Freemasons, reporting to the Laboratory Manager.
You will make an impact by:
delivering a high quality, effective and innovative cryopreservation service that meets NPAAC and ISO 15189 standards
delivering the highest standards of patient care
supporting the haematology research program through biospecium collection and processing.
To be successful in this role…
You will demonstrate accountabilit and excellence in all that you do, and enjoy working closely with others in a small team across disciplines.
You will have
BAppSc (Medical Scient) or BSc or equivalent
Recognised scientific training and experience in diagnostic or research laboratories
Demonstrated data collection and management skills
A professional approach to patient care and provision of laboratory services.
