This casual position is offered 2 days per week in office. This is not a work from home position.
The role of Medical Typist is to provide correspondence for our medical centre of 9 consulting doctors. The ability to work quickly and efficiently is important in this position. We offer good working conditions and the successful applicant will be paid above award wages.
Initial job specific training will be offered. The employee that we seek must be willing to complete tasks such as, but not limited to:
Dictaphone Typing
Copying and scanning
Filing
Preparation and handling of incoming and outgoing mail
Uploading, downloading and emailing electronic dictation modules
This position is offered on a casual basis and we are looking for someone who is flexible with working hours and days to assist our typing team with work load.
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
Previous dictaphone/typing experience in the medical industry
Previous use of medical software
Flexibility with work hours-(this is a must)
Proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft Office, particularly of Microsoft Word including use of templates, fields and margin setting.
Strong work ethic and pride in presentation of documents
Self motivation
Good organisational skills
Ability to multi task
Accurate spelling and touch typing
Remuneration is based on Health Professions Support Services Award 2010 and will be negotiated dependent on the skills that you can bring to our team.
