Access theAbout the rolePermanent Full time opportunity to provide key Medical Workforce services as described below that support excellence in service delivery for medical officers in Metro North.About youOur ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Provide accurate and authoritative advice in relation to policies and procedures, regulations and standards which impact upon the process of appointments/contracts for medical officers, including regular reports.
  • Assist the Senior Advisor, Medical Workforce Services to manage the efficient workflow of appointment requirements including effective prioritisation of tasks to ensure optimal client service outcomes while meeting governance requirements.
  • Assist the Manager, Medical Workforce Services and the Senior Advisor, Medical Workforce and Education to provide high level administrative support and co-ordination across the continuum of medical education and training in MNH including supporting quality improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain and apply contemporary knowledge in relation to relevant Industrial instruments and policy which impact medical officer engagement.
