Enfield Veterinary Hospital is looking for a receptionist to join our team. We are a very busy veterinary hospital in Sydney's inner west with fantastic clients and great vets and nurses. Our reception area is front-of-house so, we require a receptionist who has excellent communication skills and a bright, happy demeanor both on the phone and face to face with our clients.
No veterinary experience required although medical reception experience would be advantageous. A high level of customer service is required for our clients and clinic. You will work alongside a veterinary nurse who can assist you with medical issues our clients may have. Full training will be provided to help triage situations over the phone with clients.
The position will involve:
- Answering phones
- Checking emails, responding to online queries
- Making appointments
- Filing paperwork
- Liaising with nurses, vets and animal attendants
- Restocking of consult rooms
- Responsible for the tidiness of the waiting area
The roster would ideally be full time hours, with early and late shifts required per week until the clinic closes – however these are open for negotiation for the right candidate.
