We are a dynamic and supportive pharmacy team working together to deliver safe, high quality patient care and medicines management. We enjoy a collaborative working environment and you will work as part of the management and leadership team to develop high quality and innovative clinical pharmacy services and quality improvement initiatives. In return, you will be supported to develop your leadership skills.

We are looking for a Senior Pharmacist to lead a team of dedicated pharmacists within our Medicine Team, and support delivery of high quality and patient focused clinical pharmacy services to our general medicine patients.

Your new role:

• Assess, plan and implement clinical pharmacy services to deliver high quality patient care.
• Supervise clinical practice & patient care activities.
• Manage and coordinate your team to achieve patient focused KPIs.
• Provide mentoring for pharmacists, technicians, interns and students.
• Promote the quality use of medicines by leading quality and safety projects.
• Collaborate with key staff within pharmacy and across RMH.
• Contribute to on call, after hours and weekend services.

About you:

• You hold current Registration as a pharmacist with APHRA, as well as a Masters of Clinical Pharmacy.
• You have extensive experience in delivering clinical pharmacy services.
• You demonstrate the ability to effectively lead a team.
• You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
