If this sounds like you, then we have 2 positions available for 2 types of MEDICINE TECHNICIAN's in our pharmacy.
- GENERAL MEDICINE TECHNICIAN - General Medicine technicians spend time assisting patients place and collect their orders - whether that's in person or over the phone. They are also an important team member in assisting pharmacists complete their daily tasks - whether that's managing patient medicines, entering prescription data onto p.c's, helping bring medicines to life in the labs, assisting with stock management or completing important administrative tasks around the pharmacy or labs.
- DISPATCH MEDICINE TECHNICIAN - Dispatch technicians focus on preparing medicines for collection or dispatch to each patient. This means entering data into p.c's, working with pharmacists to ensure each patient medicine is ready for dispatch/collection, helping pharmacists assemble medicine orders, and completion of other administrative tasks in regards to medicine supply.
Preferably, you have experience in a customer service role, experience working on computers and have attention to detail as you will often be working with our pharmacists and other technical staff. Specific experience in a compounding pharmacy is beneficial but not essential as we will teach you everything you need to know. If you excel in your position and enjoy it as much as we do, there is plenty of future scope and opportunity for promotion, paid accredited education and advancement.
