Responsibilities:
- Assisting veterinarians in the examination, diagnosis, and treatment of patients in the medicine department.
- Monitoring and caring for hospitalized patients, including administering medications and treatments.
- Performing diagnostic tests and procedures, such as blood draws, catheter placement, and radiography.
- Providing compassionate nursing care and support to patients and their owners.
- Maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring compliance with hospital protocols.
Requirements:
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a veterinary nurse.
- Strong knowledge of veterinary medicine and nursing principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
