Reporting to the Meeting & Events Manager, we are seeking a passionate Meeting & Events Coordinator who will be responsible for the planning of client events within the hotel.
The Role:
- To handle the event management process across a wide and varied portfolio of new and existing clients. Including: corporate, government, professional conference organisers and social clients.
- The management of efficient event planning through to event conclusion
- Hosting of client site inspections to complete the planning process
- Creation of unforgettable client experiences to ensure repeat events
- Stakeholder management and communication with the banquet operations team, kitchen, front office any other relevant departments.
Ideally you will have:
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Event Management Graduates or those with experience in hospitality are highly regarded
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
- The ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously
- Experience in organising events is desirable but not essential
- Eagerness to learn Opera Sales and Catering
- Strong administrative skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
