The Account Director (Strategy) will be responsible for driving day-to-day innovative strategies to meet and exceed client business objectives, working closely with Account Management and Creative in the planning and development of data-informed, strategically sound creative solutions. You will work across both online and offline to deliver best-in-class strategic executions.
The Opportunity:
- Leading the strategic approach, working across all teams to challenge thinking and bring ideas to life
- Developing and presenting digital, integrated and campaign launch strategies to clients
- Interpret client briefings and collaborate with internal teams teams
- Understanding digital and physical touchpoints across various platforms
- An understanding of strategy fundamentals, research, performance marketing and e-commerce is beneficial for this role
- Relationship building with key clients/ stakeholders
- Develop consumer insights
- New business opportunities and pitch proposals and preparations
- Understanding of KPIs and how best to measure success in brand, digital or social strategy
- A grasp of how businesses, brands and consumers interact
- Collaborate with the internal creative team to develop concepts and campaigns
You:
- Live in Melbourne & have full working rights
- Qualification in Marketing and/or Strategy (or similar)
- 10+ years’ experience in a similar role or relevant experience
- Customer strategy planning experience is highly desirable
- Past experience in strategy, marketing, managing global brands, and international experience welcomed
- Research experience is also advantageous
- An influencer, who projects authenticity and a high level of emotional intelligence
- An advanced communicator, with verbal, written and visual presentation skills
