Member Acquisition Consultant

About the opportunity?

You will join as a Member Acquisition Consultant promoting all products to prospective Members, demonstrating a deep understanding of their features and benefits.  You will actively engage with prospective Members, providing them with expert guidance on our offerings and assisting them in making informed decisions regarding their health coverage.  This role operates in a fast-paced contact centre environment as the first point of contact for member queries through channels such as brokers channel, phone, email, or chat.

Other key responsibilities

• Identify and capitalize on opportunities to cross-sell additional products and services aligned with our Sales & Conversation framework.
• Conduct thorough needs analyses to determine the most suitable product for Members, providing detailed comparisons against competitor offerings.
• Develop expertise on competitor products and services to effectively articulate the advantages of our Fund.
• Proactively address retention and termination requests, exploring options for product changes or highlighting the value of existing coverage.

We are seeking individuals with a strong customer service / sales focus. You will need to have solid computer literacy skills, and the ability to be adaptable and resilient – no one conversation is the same and can be challenging!

Don’t worry though, we don’t expect you to jump straight in. If successful, you will undertake fun and dynamic, fully paid training program provided over the first 6 weeks of your employment to give you the tools you need to start helping our members the HBF way.

Provide an exceptional level of personalised service to prospective and current Members and guide them to a successful outcome by identifying individual needs, problem solving and proactively promoting our products and services, along with ensuring all processes and interactions are completed with accuracy and professionalism.
