Our Client is a highly regarded function and event venue on the Gold Coast and is also home to several highly anticipated major sporting events in the region.
An exciting opportunity is now available for a highly motivated Individual, who has excellent customer service and public relations skills to take on the role of Membership Liaison Manage. This is a hands on role, where you will be the first point of contact for all Member communications and queries, handle membership renewals, send out membership packs and update and maintain the membership database.
In addition, you will be liaising with Members regarding upcoming events, promoting membership opportunities and pro-actively growing the membership database. An integral part of this role involves being in attendance at regular events and engaging with Members to ensure they are provided with an outstanding experience and treated with genuine care throughout every point of contact. Note; this position will be Tuesday to Saturday.

- Create plans for monthly member promotions and initiatives to increase member spend
- Prepare Event sponsorship advertising, promotional material and signage for Sponsors
- Build the membership base via forming new relationships with third party organisations
- Attend weekly events and be the contact point for Member feedback and complaint resolution
- Maintain membership database, member portal and members website page
- Maintain a Membership Kit both online and printed, together with improvements to the Membership Renewal and New Member strategies
- Provide Management and the Board with regular reports and updates on membership and growth strategies
- Minimum 3 years in a Membership Lead Role, within a Hospitality/ Sporting Club environment
- Demonstrated experience in implementing and executing strategies for attracting and growing the membership database
- High level communication skills, with the ability to deal with people across all demographics
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to forward plan and manage changing circumstances
- High attention to detail, ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
- High level computer skills with the ability to produce meaningful Management reports
