The Club also strives to offer the best racing experience in the country to everyone that makes their way to The Valley including our sponsors, industry participants and stakeholders, corporate function guests, community groups, racing fans and other patrons.The Membership Sales Coordinators are required to maximise revenue generated from membership, on course dining, enclosure packages and programmed events. The role involves engaging with potential members, understanding their needs and interests, and promoting our product to persuade them to purchase. The role also has a responsibility to provide a high-level customer experience for Club members, patrons, partners and the general enquirers.The incumbent will demonstrate commitment to MVRC's Values which are:

- Actively participate in the sales function for all products including membership, thoroughbred race meetings dining, and hospitality packages and club programmed events. This will be achieved through inbound sales conversion and outbound sales calls
- Ensure that dining packages are sold and tracked as per the sales plan and are accurately allocated to tables/seats.
- Identify opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell to other MVRC products to meet customer needs and grow revenue opportunities across the business.
- To work collaboratively within the Membership and Customer Experience team to consistently deliver a high-level customer experience to all Club customers and potential customers. These customer groups include: members, partners, visitors, patrons and general enquires.
- Experience in working both independently, and in a team environment ideally within a sales based, customer service and/or membership role.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills with strong problem-solving skills and a 'can do' attitude.
- Highly motivated with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
- Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail in transaction processing and record documentation.
- Strong commitment to organisational goals and customer service and a demonstrated capacity to project a positive image of the MVRC through appropriate behaviour and attire.
- Ability to co-operate with others, set priorities and work to timelines.
- Competent in the skilled use of computerised operating systems including a. Experience in using a CRM and Microsoft Office suite.
- Compliant with the Australian Privacy Principals and Regulations.
