Monash Health is excited to be advertsing for a Qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse to fill the Mental Health Bed Flow and Access Manager position for our Mental Health Program.

The Mental Health Bed Flow and Access Manager is integral to the daily business of the Mental Health Program, coordinating and improving our patients access and flow within the organisation.

About The Role

As the Mental Health Patient Bed Flow and Access Manager, you are responsible for coordinating and improving effective patient care for our consumer across Monash Health, ensuring the operations for our patient access and flow systems and process are optimal to meet capacity and demand. As the Bed Flow and access Manager you will also be required to engage, colloborate and partner with external public and private Mental Health Services and other relevant stakeholders.

In this Leadership position you will be required to be proficient in the use of information systems to provide daily and timely progress reports, facilitating performanace measurea and outcomes. Apply quality and safety to address variances to improve and ensure safe patient flow.

This is a full time - Monday - Friday role working across the Mental Health Program.

About You

You have been developing your management and leadership skills, have excetional orgniational and digital skills, are an excellent communicator and are ready to take this next step in your Career. You are a qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse with a minimum of 5 years expereince. You lead by example and thrive working in a dynamic, fast paced environment.   • Qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse
  • Demonstrated experience (aligned to positon description noting reference to years of experience)
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Victorian Drivers Liscense

Selection Criteria Registered Psychiatric Nurse holder of a sole qualification in Mental Health Nursing or Is a Registered nurse who has a Post Graduate Diploma In Mental Health Nursing with 5 years post qualification experience as a mental health nurse
