Salary- This is a multidisciplinary role and is open to Grade 2 or 3 Occupational Therapists, Social Workers and Psychologists, and Grade 3 or 4 Registered Psychiatric Nurses.

Orygen Specialist Program (OSP), a program of the Royal Melbourne Hospital, provides specialist Mental Health Services for young people aged 12 to 25 and focuses on providing early intervention to young people with severe and complex mental illness.
The Custodial Forensic Youth Mental Health Service (FYMHS) team provides specialist Youth Mental Health care in custodial settings including the Parkville and Malmsbury sites.
Your new role:
In this role, you will:
- Provide clinical assessments, formulation and treatment to young people, including appropriate discharge planning and age-appropriate referrals once the young people are ready to transition back into the community
- Work collaboratively and feel very supported by our experienced and skilled clinical & medical staff and engage with our key-stakeholders from youth justice (YJ) and other service providers (CCA & Caraniche)
- Be based at either the Parkville, Malmsbury or Cherry Creek Youth Justice Precinct. As such, travel to the workplace destination is included within the working hours.
- Relevant registration and qualifications (see position description for details)
- Demonstrate experience in the application of clinical practice, particularly in Youth Mental Health
- Knowledge of the youth justice and/or criminal justice system and other relevant settings is desirable.
