About the role:
An outstanding opportunity awaits a dedicated Primary teacher to join an accredited International Baccalaureate Islamic school, in Truganina 2024. This exceptional school, serving around 1600 students from years P-12. The school supports both graduates and experienced teachers, maintains excellent student behaviour and is welcoming of teachers of any faith.
Key duties:
- Work within a supporting Primary teaching cohort
- Design and develop lesson plans, assessments, and curriculum materials that align with relevant Australian curriculum standards.
- Deliver engaging and effective classroom instruction, fostering a positive learning environment
- Commit to continuous professional growth and development
- Accept the Islamic educational philosophy of the school- Islamic faith not essential or strict dress
- Completed relevant Qualifications in Education
- Maintain a valid and up-to-date VIT registration
- Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Demonstrate previous experience in teaching primary students
- Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable).
