About the role:An opportunity for one (1) x Mental Health Clinical Team Leader to join the North West Metro Hub, located in Docklands.The Health and Wellbeing Hub is the single most significant investment in the health, safety and wellbeing of Victoria Police employees to prevent and respond to work related injuries. Six multi-disciplinary teams, based in hubs across the state are being established, enhancing employee's Mental Health, injury prevention, early intervention, and recovery support. This newly created position offers an exciting opportunity to support Victoria Police employees.Reporting to the Hub Manager, the Mental Health Clinical Team Leader is a key leadership position in the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Hubs providing day to day management and support to a team of Mental Health Clinicians. The position will supervise and support a regional team of Mental Health Clinicians in delivering proactive Mental Health and wellbeing services to employees. This position will role model good clinical practice and develop and nurture talent within the team.Victoria Police is a contemporary and agile workplace and supports flexible working arrangements.Your duties will include:

• Lead a team a Mental Health Clinician in the delivery of a range of employee wellbeing services
• Provide day to day support, advice and supervision to staff for all clinical and operational needs.
• Conduct regular case reviews and audits of clinical cases to ensure compliance with all governance requirements.
• Provide clinical subject matter expertise on complex cases to ensure services are in line with best practice.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.

As the successful applicant, you will have:

• Highly developed clinical skills in the delivery of Mental Health services.
• Demonstrated experience managing a team of Mental Health professionals and the delivery of clinical supervision.
• High developed communication skills and ability to negotiate complex and sensitive decisions.
• Ability to influence managers and stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
• Full registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA; or registration as a Social Worker with AASW; or registered Mental Health Nurse with AHPRA and ACMHN; or Occupations Therapist with AHPRA and endorsed for Mental Health practice by OTA.

Requirements and relevant information:

• One (1) x full-time, ongoing position available.
• This position is located at Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands.
• This position requires regular travel, applicants must hold a current Driver's Licence.
• Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.
