What you'll be doing
- To provide senior clinical input, support, and supervision to the Community Mental Health Drug and Alcohol Service.
- Working in collaboration with other key service providers to ensure the best clinical care for consumers of MHDA services promoting recovery model of care into MHDA practice.
- Develop policy documents and model of care in collaboration with the contracted NGO, particularly those in relation to the physical health of consumers.
- Salary packaging (pay less tax) and enjoy up to $9k for living expenses + $2.6k meal & entertainment + Novated leasing

About Buronga / Mildura
On the NSW side of the Murray River, Buronga is a beautiful rural town, just 10km from Mildura Victoria, many of our staff live in the booming regional hub of Mildura and travel the short 10 minutes to work. Mildura has a population of over 50,000 and growing with all the facilities of a regional city, yet is uniquely positioned in the scenic, Sunraysia region, famous for its sunshine, and horticulture including grapes and oranges. - Relevant tertiary qualifications in nursing and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Minimum of five (5) years FTE post graduate MHDA care experience, preferably with post graduate qualifications relevant to MHDA service provision.
- Demonstrated commitment and ability to work collaboratively and effectively with MHDA consumers and carers.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesise information and develop clear and succinct reports/policy documents/Models of Care.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, present and evaluate education/training.
- Evidence of understanding of and commitment to the consumer/care participation, the recovery model and person centred care.
- Demonstrated ability to work collegially with NGOs and colleagues to the benefit of consumers and carers.
- Demonstrated ability to implement changes and develop direction in clinical practice through planning, quality management and research
