My Possibility is a leading Mental Health Occupational Therapy provider, offering mobile & community-based NDIS services in the greater Melbourne area. We are looking for a new and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our expanding team. My Possibility OT prides itself on delivering a high standard of care and support to NDIS participants.
This role has no billable targets or KPI's. You will be in charge of your own caseload, meaning you can choose your own work hours and take on as many clients as you choose.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- Bachelor's/Masters degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
- Valid AHPRA Registration
- Experience working within the NDIS framework preferable, but not essential
- ABN Number Required
- Current Drivers License and Reliable Car
- Current Police Check
- Current Working with Children Check (employee)
- Experience in using evidence-based assessments to complete comprehensive functional assessments
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage your own caseload
- A home office or space available to complete non-clinical work
- Experience working with individuals with psychosocial disabilities
About the role
- You will work as a mobile OT providing community-based therapy to NDIS participants within a specified distance from your home
- Provide both assessment and intervention services to clients funded privately, through the NDIS using evidence-based practice. This may include life skills training, equipment prescription, one to one exercise & lifestyle interventions, home environment assessments & recommendations and completion of Functional Capacity Assessments
- Receive clinical support from a senior Occupational Therapist to further develop your knowledge, skills and confidence
- Liaise with other NDIS providers and key stakeholders
