Your role as Support Worker will encompass a diverse range of tasks. You will assist participants with their daily lives, encouraging and supporting them to work towards their goals and Mental Health recovery. All participants are individuals, and we prefer to engage Support Workers with similar shared interests to our participants.
Role Overview
- Experience with supporting participants with psychosocial disabilities
- Previous experience in complex Mental Health preferred.
- Previous experience in supporting participants with Mental Health diagnosis.
- Follow processes meticulously.
- Computer skills
- Participate in team meetings and training.
Essential requirements for the Role
- Minimum of Cert 3 or community services related discipline.
- Current first aid and CPR certification
- Current Driver's license
- Well maintained car with full insurance
- A current NDIS Workers Screening Card and a Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or working to obtain.
- NDIS Workers Orientation Module
- CPR/first Aid or ability to obtain.
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently.
- Excellent people skills and rapport-building abilities
- Efficient time management
- Compliance with processes and procedures
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
