The role
As the Speech Pathologist, you will work closely with NDIS participants and can select your caseload to be either adults or to include clients across the age span.
The duties and responsibilities of the Speech Pathologist will include, but not be limited to:
- Provide assessment, intervention and evaluation for NDIS participants
- Provide speech pathology clinical practice in direct care delivery through application of evidence-based practice and policy
- Educate, support and liaise with participants, carers, colleagues, medical, nursing, allied health professionals to provide multi-disciplinary care
- Ensure all documentation is appropriately updated to the clinical standard required by AHPRA and the NDIS
- Adhere to code of ethics and practices
- Participate in review meetings and case conferences as appropriate
About you
To be considered for the role, you will be a qualified Speech Pathologist who has a drive to provide therapy services to your clients in a community-based NDIS setting.
In addition, you will also have:
- Current and full general registration with SPA
- Excellent communication, time management and organisational skills
- Current police clearance
- Current WA Working with Children Check and NDIS worker check
- Current driving licence
- Full Australian working rights
