The role
Due to an internal promotion, we’re looking for an experienced Allocator to join our Merchandise Planning team and manage stock allocations to stores. This is a hands-on role and is perfect for someone with a hunger to enhance their career in an exciting time of growth for the business
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate the allocation process within agreed parameters according to sales trends, store gradings with consideration to geographic/ climatic conditions
- Maximise stock availability to ensure stock replenishment is reflective of store requirements at style and size level
- Work with the warehouse team to ensure stock deliveries are within agreed time frames into store
- Act as a key point of contact for Area Managers and stores regarding stock levels and product/category mix
- Support the wider Planning team with store analysis and recommendations for assortments
- Experience in stock allocations and/or replenishment within a retail women’s fashion environment
- Strong data accuracy and analytical skills
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, V-lookup)
- Knowledge of planning analytics tools eg: TM1 advantageous
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication
