Your Role:
Our Merchandising team plays a pivotal role in curating and delivering optimal category assortments for our boutiques across Australia & NZ. Leveraging analytics, reporting, allocations, and inventory management, we are seeking a passionate Merchandiser to join our team.
This role will oversee a full category of merchandise planning assortment to maximize brand desirability, market shares, profitability, and retail excellence. Work alongside the Merchandise Manager, building strong relationships with APAC regional Merch teams and local cross-functional teams.
Your Purpose:
- Report Generation: Generate & analyze regular reports, proposing action plans and strategies to maximize selling potentials
- Category Oversight: Responsible for overseeing allocation, replenishment, and merchandise control, including price changes, assortment updates, and consolidations
- Product Launch Coordination: Optimize collection and product launch, collaborating with Retail and Marketing teams
- Sales and Inventory Review: Review sales, sell-through, and inventory across the retail network, organizing strategic local stock rebalances to increase sell-through
- Retail Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Retail team to maximize their daily sales, providing targets and product focus
- Liaison with Regional Team: Partner with the regional planning/supply chain team to maintain adequate inventory levels with timely delivery
To be successful in this role:
You should have relevant qualifications and bring 4-5 years’ experience in the luxury retail sector with proven luxury retail merchandising experience. Your proficiency in product sensibility, analytical acumen, and understanding of retail KPIs is crucial. Strong communication skills, both written and spoken English, along with autonomy and a proactive mindset, are prerequisites for success in this dynamic role. Your can-do attitude, attention to detail, and adaptability will see you succeed in a constantly evolving and fast paced environment.
