Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Metadata Analyst for contract position based in Sydney. As a Metadata Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing and configuring our current data lineage tool set to effectively scan and integrate with datasets within Azure Cloud (Databricks). This position offers a dynamic environment where you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data management initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:

• Enhance and configure the existing data lineage tool set.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate datasets within Azure Cloud (Databricks).
• Analyze metadata to ensure data quality and consistency.
• Provide insights and recommendations for metadata management best practices.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to metadata processes and configurations.

Key Requirements:

• 4-5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst.
• Proficiency in Collibra for metadata management.
• Strong SQL skills for data querying and manipulation.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation tasks.
• Experience with Manta (desirable).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (nice to have).
