Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Metadata Analyst for contract position based in Sydney. As a Metadata Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing and configuring our current data lineage tool set to effectively scan and integrate with datasets within Azure Cloud (Databricks). This position offers a dynamic environment where you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data management initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance and configure the existing data lineage tool set.
- Collaborate with teams to integrate datasets within Azure Cloud (Databricks).
- Analyze metadata to ensure data quality and consistency.
- Provide insights and recommendations for metadata management best practices.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to metadata processes and configurations.
Key Requirements:
- 4-5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst.
- Proficiency in Collibra for metadata management.
- Strong SQL skills for data querying and manipulation.
- Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation tasks.
- Experience with Manta (desirable).
- Familiarity with scripting languages (nice to have).
