Metal Fabricator

Located in Orange NSW, we are seeking experienced Boilermakers and Welders based in Australia to join our growing team.
We offer family friendly hours of work for our employees:
- Monday – Thursday 7:00am to 3:30pm and;
- Friday 7:00am to 1:00pm, with some overtime available.
No weekend work!
You will be working in an open-planned workplace, with multiple welding bays. You will be welding reinforced steel, tractor buckets and tractor accessories as well as construction implements and accessories and be responsible for the following:
- Welding or fabrication of steel (MIG Welding).
- Assisting the Engineering Department on Projects.
- Assisting the Production Department with repairs/special orders.
Duties Include: (but are not limited to)
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Fabricating and welding metal components to precise specifications.
- Operating machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
- Quality control and ensuring the highest standards of workmanship.
- Collaborating with a diverse team of professionals.
- Safety - Commitment to work, health and safety guidelines and procedures is essential.
- Team Player - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Criteria for Metal Fabricators
- Trade Qualified
- 5+ Years Experience in a heavy steel welding environment
- Experience working in an engineering or fabrication workshop environment.
- Overhead Crane experience
- Current forklift licence
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
- Basic computer skills.
