We are looking for experienced Metal Fabricator/ Welder to join their team.
The Role
The successful candidate is expected to do the following responsibilities:
Study blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine job requirements.
Selecting, cleaning and preparing metal stock.
Cutting marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches and metal cutting machines.
Shaping and bending metal sections using hand and machine tools, and by heating and hammering.
Joining metal sections using various welding techniques, bolting and riveting.
Examine welds for width of bead, penetration and precision.
Finishing products by cleaning, polishing, filing and bathing is acidic solutions.
Cleaning and smoothing welds by filing, chiselling and grinding.
The Ideal Candidate
Experience in the manufacturing and Automotive is an added advantage
High level of competency in Tig – Mig welding stainless steel, aluminium and steel.
Proven experience as well as trade qualifications as metal fabricator/welder are essential.
Minimum of 3 years experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skill and attention to detail.
An ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
High level of safety orientation.
While local candidates will be given priority, outstanding international candidates may also be considered for employment with 482/TSS visa sponsorship.
