AddressD5 Steel Pty Ltd is an established metal fabricator working for mainly residential building projects across Melbourne.
We are looking for a boilermaker/metal fabricator who has the following abilities:
- reading and interpreting engineering blueprints
- construction of templates if necessary
- ability to weld varied materials, ie aluminium, steel, etc
- measuring and marking out cutting and bending lines.
- setting up metalwork machinery, including rollers, drill pressers, flame cutters, brakes and shears
- double check design specifications before commencing with cutting works
- fabrication and constructing metal components
- grinding, polishing and finishing completed products
- adhering to all OH&S regulations
- -Site work required, must have driver's license
- completion of job reports
- ability to lift and manipulate large metal objects using an overhead crane.
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Good problem solving skills, and ability to work as a team.
