Green Frog based in Marrickville, is a well-established family owned business that specialise primarily in the re-roofing of metal and tile roofs, Attic conversions and Home renovations.
The business also entertains the occasional gutter and downpipe replacements along with roof repairs..
The majority of our work is domestic, however, we do have the occasional commercial job.
Our work is predominately located in the Inner-West of Sydney.
The role
Reporting to the Production Manager, We have awesome opportunities available for experienced Metal Roofer to join the team! Experience in carpentry would be advantageous.
Whilst we continually work to strengthen our team of passionate and dedicated people, you will hold a key position that utilise your wealth of knowledge and passion for the industry.
Hourly rate - package
- $55-$65 per hour based on experience and qualification
- 10% Superannuation (on ordinary hours up to 37.5 hrs)
- Overtime paid at base rate
- Fuel allowance
- Toll card
What you'll do
- Provide leadership for the trade teams
- Perform re-roofing jobs, gutter and downpipe replacement, as well as roof repairs.
- Check measuring of jobs
- Supervising and making sure our trades are accountable, whilst ensuring all work is of a high quality
- Liaising with customers on site
- Identify and implement efficiencies for the trade teams
- Assist with planning out jobs and ensure we get the most out of each team
- Motivate the team and ensure morale is kept high
- Lead or manage a small team as required
