Your Metallurgical Technician Trainee role:
This position is within the Ore Processing Department where you will report to the Senior Plant Metallurgist. You will be responsible for the On Stream Analyser (OSA) in the processing plant and work towards collecting, processing, analysing samples at the metallurgical laboratories to support ongoing production.
This position does not require any previous mining or metallurgical experience. You will have the opportunity for on the job training as well as completing a certificate IV in laboratory techniques.
This position is a full-time two year maximum term contract position, based in the Parkes region of NSW. Attractive employee benefits are available including subsidised private health cover, salary packaging options, and the opportunity for increased superannuation contributions.
The successful applicant will possess the following essential criteria:
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Forklift licence desirable
- Current NSW drivers licence (manual preferred)
- Reside in the Central West Region
