Meter Reader - Training Provided

Adecco are currently recruiting for a Meter Reader (Site Data Specialist) to read and record data from commercial and industrial clients electricity, water and gas usage. The head office is in Albion but you will be servicing clients across Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Gold Coast and Toowoomba on different days. You will work 38 hours per week with starting and finishing times varied between 6:30am - 5:30pm depending on the clients for the day and their location. You will be rewarded with a starting salary of $55,000 plus super and a vehicle/fuel card after 3-6 months that you can use for local personal use as well as a 5% pay increase after 3 months probation. The company also offers yearly pay increases after the end of each financial year. You will be joining a small company who values and supports their employees. Fantastic working environment.

Client Details

My client's enterprise specializes in overseeing the resale operations within integrated networks on behalf of property owners, covering a diverse range of establishments such as Retail Shopping Centres, Commercial High Rise buildings, Government Entities, and Industrial complexes, spanning from Airports to Marinas and various points in between. This entails the monthly handling of over thirty-six thousand meter readings across Australia, involving both remote and manual methods.

Description

Responsibilities:

• Reading and recording data from meters that record electricity, water and gas use
• Look after key commercial/industrial clients (no residential meter reading)
• Complete required inductions to be able to gain access to the meters at different sites
• Ability to attain an ASIC clearance card to access meters at airport
• Able to work autonomously and unsupervised
• Prepared to travel from Noosa to the Gold Coast and out to Toowoomba

Profile

Qualifications:

• No qualification required - full Training Provided

Technical Experience:

• Strong consistent work history in previous roles
• Fit and healthy as you will be on your feet and walking
• Clean driving record
• High level attention to detail as you will be reading and recording data from meter reading equipment
• Ability to liaise with clients for high level customer service and to complete inductions

Job Offer

Salary and Conditions:

• Fantastic salary on offer - $55,000 plus 11% superannuation & after 3-6 months a vehicle and fuel card
• You will be able to use the vehicle for personal use
• 5% pay increase after 3 months probation
• Day shift - 38 hour week - No overtime
• Mid to end of March start
• Full Training Provided for the position (if required) - 2 months training to start with
