About the Role
We are looking for a number of full-time Water Meter Replacement Skilled Labourers to service a variety of water sector clients across Melbourne. Each day you will be required to complete the replacement of water meters and recording of all details electronically. Key Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:
• Water Meter replacement & assembly maintenance.
• Follow correct replacement procedures.
• Customer Service – face to face and phone
• Perform tasks within budgets and time frames
• Communicate regularly with office support team
• Maintain accurate and timely digital job installation records
• Ensure that all tasks are performed in a manner consistent with state and company OH&S policies and procedures.
• Work independently
About You
We are looking for reliable and dedicated individuals to help us on a variety of ongoing projects. The ideal candidates will possess the following:
• Strong mechanical aptitude – proficient with hand tools.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic with a willingness to learn
• An aptitude for problem solving
• Attention to detail – Data Accuracy is a MUST!
• Reliable, punctual, and capable of meeting deadlines
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• The ability to work under supervision both individually and occasionally in a team setting.
• Able to do a lot of bending, squatting and walking (moderate degree of physical fitness)
• Ability to work in most weather conditions.
• Flexible and comfortable with daily travel
• Own hand tools
• A current driver's licence
• A red/ white card
• Working with children's check police check would be advantageous and you must be able to obtain one if you don't already have one
