About the RoleOur Dinmore Plant is currently recruiting an experienced
Finance Officer to join our Ops Team in a full-time capacity. Reporting to the Plant Accountant, this role is best suited to an existing Finance/Accounts Officer or a recent Graduate Accountant looking to further develop their experience with a global leader in the food industry.
Your key responsibilities will include:- Supporting the Livestock Accounts Coordinator and stepping in as back-up as required
- Completing the Daily Regrading Grain Feed / EU & MSA
- Completing the reconciliation of the Purchase Sale Status Report for Dinmore Livestock
- Preparing weekly recharges to others sites (e.g. Hides/Cold storage/Qube)
- Collating and recording data weekly/monthly results and reports (Hides)
- Preparing journals and general ledger reconciliations (Hides & FBS)
- Assisting with budget preparation and analysis (Hides & FBS)
- Preparing monthly stocktake and accruals
- Processing the weekly employee meat order deductions
About You- Previous experience working in a similar Finance / Accounts role
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Business or Finance or working towards (relevant certificate and diploma level quals also considered)
- Working knowledge of accounting principles
- SAP experience advantageous
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to identify basic cause and effect relationships with
- Strong analytical skills
- Exceptional ability to prioritise and multi-task
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter with demonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as within a team environment
- Energetic, passionate and enthusiastic with a demonstrated focus on system improvement
