• Assist the Tunnel Construction Methods & Delivery Teams in preparing plans & reviewing designs for TBM assembly and disassembly, TBM and Cross Passage excavation, and tunnel civil fit out construction activities.
• Direct management of drafting resources for 2D Drawings & 3D Modelling tasks, ensuring they have access to the correct information, and drawings & models are delivered in line with the construction teams requirements.
• Manage the development detailed construction staging methods drawings for the operational teams in line with the approved design and with planning clearly identifying the sequence of works and the required temporary works.
• Assist with the development of temporary works design briefs, liaising with the Temporary Works Managers, Designers and the construction teams to ensure the design is developed and installed as per the project requirements.
• Manage the development of construction site establishment & site installation layouts for logistics, vehicle & pedestrian management plans, including swept path studies and traffic management drawings, in line with operational teams’ requirements.
• Manage the development of detailed methods drawings for Roadheader & TBM Tunnelling & Civil Fit Out works, and associated operations, including the delivery, assembly, TBM & cross passage excavation, and Underground support facilities & services.
• Assisting with, and writing Construction Work Method Statements for tunnelling works scope / tasks
• Collaborate with the engineering team to provide input on TBM tunnel construction methods, equipment selection, and ground support systems to ensure safe and effective execution.

Required Skills and CompetenciesQualifications and Experience

• At least 2 years’ experience as a Methods Engineer
• Bachelor degree in in Civil Construction, or a related field
• Previous experience in tunnelling projects or construction projects
• Knowledge of TBM machinery and its operational principles.
• Proficient with AutoCAD & Revit Software
