The MEX & Purchasing Co-ordinator is responsible for all purchasing requirements and preparation and control of work packages for maintenance activities across the site. The focus of the role will be to ensure all purchasing needs are met and effectively co-ordinate daily maintenance team activities as per the site’s Asset Management Strategy to maximize plant availability and minimise costs.SafetyEnsure a safety-first culture and adoption of the Vinidex iCARE behaviours, to achieve world class workplace safety standards.PurchasingMaintain preferred suppliers, and materials cost/stock files in consultation with the Regional AccountantRaise and place orders for raw materials and process orders and goods inwards documentation in conjunction with Accounts and administration personnelMaintenance/Asset Management Periodic preventative maintenance tasks and resultant corrective actions, Work Order Requests from production partners, workshop overhauls, equipment/infrastructure repairs are allocated and completed in a planned, timely manner.ProductionMaximise equipment availability/reliability to site’s operations including infrastructure and production equipment.In conjunction with Maintenance and Production Management, improve the quality…
