The Company

Multiple opportunities available for a strong Microvellum Draftsperson to join some of the leading suppliers in the cabinetry and joinery industry. With 3 factories based across North Brisbane, our clients are recruiting for candidates who have experience in creating joinery projects across the commercial, residential and shopfitting sector.

The role

Day to day responsibilities and work type will include drafting drawings to 3D renders for clients using Microvellum software, assist with machinery faults, rectify defaults, sending jobs to the CNC machine and utilise quality workmanship on a variety of projects. A strong technical understanding of drafting projects from scratch is ideal, as well as modifying joinery designs from a content library. Working alongside a team of drafters, project managers and production staff to produce designs on time and to client spec.

You will

• Have experience as a Drafter working on commercial, residential or shopfitting projects
• Possess 5-10+ years' experience with Microvellum
• Trade qualified in cabinet making / joineryis advantageous
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Commercial furniture experience is preferable but not essential
• Work in a team environment whilst managing your own daily workflow
• Be able to produce detailed technical drawings efficiently and accurately
