About the role:
- Provide exceptional postnatal care to new mothers and their babies, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being is prioritised.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care plans, tailored to each individual's needs.
- Support and educate new mothers on breastfeeding, baby care, and postnatal recovery, empowering them to feel confident and knowledgeable.
Preferred Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience as a Midwife, with a deep understanding of postnatal care practices.
- A passion for providing exceptional patient-centred care, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, demonstrating resilience and adaptability.
- An innate dedication to staying abreast of the latest developments and best practices in Midwifery.
- A commitment to promoting diversity, inclusion, and cultural sensitivity in all aspects of care provision.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Midwifery or equivalent qualification, recognised by the relevant regulatory body.
- Current registration as a Midwife with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and education in the field of Midwifery.
