The Role
The successful person will become a member of a small hardworking and committed team is responsible for overseeing and implementing all tasks associated with blasting operations onsite.
You will be responsible for:
- Providing labour to support the implementation of drilling schedules, drilling plans and pattern mark ups where required
- Working with the Blast Crew in carrying out blasting operations as per design and schedule
- Assisting with blast reporting so that it is carried out to the required standard
- Personal and professional continuous development within the Blast Crew team
- Assisting other Mining Technicians across the Mining Department as required
About You
This role would suit a suitably qualified and practiced blast crew with experience in an open pit mining environment. Persons with skilled labour backgrounds may also apply
You will also have:
- A Western Australian Dangerous Goods Security Card
- A Western Australian C Class Drivers Licence
- The ability to work autonomously
- Suitable fitness for long field days
